Rise of Nations is a real-time strategy game from Big Huge Games' Brian Reynolds, combining the pulse pounding thrill and speed of real-time gaming with the epic scope and depth of turn-based strategy games. Players dominate 6,000 years of history, beginning in the Ancient Age and progressing to the Information Age. In this game, players create new cities and expand national borders while engaging in trade, espionage or diplomacy - or war. From sling shots to nuclear weapons may be used for military might as players wheel and deal across time with different cultures. Ultimately their goal is to consolidate power under their rule as they lead their nation to global prominence.
