MAG is a video game set in 2026, in a post-WW3 world where the global superpowers have dissolved their military and instead turned to Private Military Corporations (PMCs). Players must enlist with one of three PMCs and fight for control of the paramilitary contract market. The intense 256 player FPS battles are conducted using a Command & Control system, so working as a team is essential for gaining an advantage. Players can customize their look and select skills and equipment to create their own custom warrior; each victory will strengthen the standing of their chosen PMC with the Global Superpowers, resulting in faction and player benefits.

MAG (Massive Action Game) is an online first-person shooter for the PlayStation 3 that allows players to command a 128-player army into battle. Developed by Zipper Interactive and released in 2010, MAG was one of the earliest console games to offer such large scale battles. The game features three private military corporations (PMC): SVER, Raven, and Valor each with their own unique weapons and abilities as well as different styles of play. Players can join any PMC they choose or create their own squad with up to 16 other players.

MAG offers several different game modes including Suppression Mode, Domination Mode, Acquisition Mode, Sabotage Mode and Siege Mode. In these modes teams fight over objectives such as controlling points on a map or destroying enemy assets while earning rewards for completing objectives quickly and efficiently. Rewards may include XP which can be used to unlock additional weapons or items from supply drops that appear throughout the mission area during gameplay. These drops contain powerful weapons like rocket launchers or sniper rifles not available through regular purchases at stores in addition to boosts like faster reload times for all guns on a team's side of the battlefield; however these are only available if your team wins the mission within a certain time limit set before each match begins.
