Dead to Rights: Retribution is an action-packed video game developed by Namco Bandai Games. Players take on the role of Vice Cop Jack Slate and his canine companion Shadow as they fight against crime, greed and corruption in Grant City. The game introduces a new hybrid combat system that combines third person shooting and brawling elements for an intense experience. Through this system players can use their sidearm to pick off enemies from a distance, take cover with blind-firing mechanics, or get up close with human shields, disarm moves and deadly takedowns. There are also branching melee combos available to players as they battle various gangs each with their own unique abilities throughout the slums and alleys of the city. Jack is not alone in his mission however as he teams up with Shadow who can detect threats or flush out enemies so that Jack can eliminate them more easily.
