Empyre: Lords of the Sea Gates is a video game set in an alternate version of New York City in 1911 where most of the city has been flooded, turning avenues into canals and rooftops into streets. Players take on the role of helping Manhattan survive this new crisis as it has transformed over time into a series of City-States. The goal is to build alliances with other lords and manage resources carefully to protect against threats from both outside forces and within the city itself.
