Costume Quest is a charming, light-hearted Adventure/Role-Playing game that takes place on Halloween night. Developed by Double Fine's lead animator Tasha Harris, the game follows the adventures of a group of friends who must save their neighborhood from monsters using only their wits and homemade costumes. Players go door to door collecting candy, points, cards, battle stamps and quest assignments as they prepare for Combat Mode - where they transform into larger than life versions of their costumes.

Each costume has its own unique set of superpowers that can be used to battle the monsters. In Costume Quest players are able to explore different environments such as suburban neighborhoods, mysterious village carnivals and monster infested shopping malls. The characters also have access to special items like magical weapons which give them an advantage in battles against enemies. Costumes can be upgraded with new abilities or swapped out for more powerful ones depending on what type of challenge players need to face during missions.

The story line is engaging and humorous while still providing plenty of action packed moments throughout the campaign mode; allowing players to experience all sorts of exciting tasks such as defeating bosses and completing various quests before taking part in epic fights between costumed heroes and villains alike! What’s more is that each character has an interesting back story which gives insight into why he or she decided to take up this heroic journey in the first place!
