Batman: Arkham City is an action-adventure video game developed by Rocksteady Studios and released in 2011. The game builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum to send players soaring into the new maximum security home for all of Gotham City's criminals - Arkham City.
