Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean is an action-RPG set in a world where lands exist in the sky and oceans are legendary. Players control a spirit that guides protagonist Kalas throughout his journey, fighting enemies with more than 1,000 types of Magnus cards. Along the way, players will uncover the mystery of the lost sea as they experience themes of friendship, betrayal and prayer.

Baten Kaitos Origins is a prequel to the first Baten Kaitos game. It follows protagonist Sagi, along with robot Guillo and young woman Milly, as they are blamed for the death of Emperor Geldoblame and must go on the run. Players progress through the game by acquiring Magnus cards which can be obtained in various ways such as trading, buying or winning them in battle. As players progress through the game, they will also learn more about how Geldoblame rose to power and why Lost Ocean is returning. The game offers both linear progression at initial stages as well as an opportunity for optional side quests when players acquire their own ship later on in the game. With over 600 different Magnus cards available, it provides an exciting adventure full of fantastical creatures and powers that await!
