Dead Rising follows the story of Frank West, a freelance photojournalist in search of his next scoop. He arrives at a small suburban town to find it overrun by zombies and takes refuge in the local shopping mall. There, he must use anything he can find to fight off the flesh-hungry mob and uncover what caused their outbreak. Dead Rising offers an open level of freedom with its realistic mall setting, dynamic real time system and diverse population of former humans that have retained some memory from their previous lives. Players will also encounter other survivors on their journey who may provide valuable clues as to what has happened. With never ending waves of enemies coming at them, players must make every second count if they want to survive this zombie apocalypse!
