Quake 4 is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Activision. Players take on the role of Matthew Kane, an elite member of Rhino Squad and Earth's invasion force to defeat the alien Strogg race. The game utilizes id Software's revolutionary DOOM 3 technology, allowing players to battle alone or with their squad in hover tanks and mechanized walkers. As they progress through missions, players will eventually be captured and turned into a Strogg themselves with enhanced abilities that allow them to turn the tide of war against them.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is an epic online strategic shooter that pits the armies of Earth against invading aliens, the Strogg. Players can choose to battle as one of five unique classes in either the EDF or Strogg armies, each outfitted with specialist weapons and combat hardware. Both sides have access to over 40 conventional and futuristic vehicles as well as deployable structures such as quad-bikes, tanks and alien walkers for ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air. Teams establish bases, deploy defense systems into enemy territory while constructing obstacles to gain a tactical advantage over their opponents. Through multi-battle campaigns players strive not only for victory but also gain valuable skills and special rewards for team play along with persistent military promotions and medals.
