Both sides have access to over 40 conventional and futuristic vehicles as well as deployable structures such as quad-bikes, tanks and alien walkers for ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air. Teams establish bases, deploy defense systems into enemy territory while constructing obstacles to gain a tactical advantage over their opponents. All about game Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a first-person shooter video game developed by Splash Damage and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It's the prequel to Quake II and set in the same science fiction universe as Quake II and Quake 4. Like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory before it, Quake Wars focuses on multiplayer combat with two teams of players pitted against each other.
What sets this game apart from its predecessors are its larger maps, controllable vehicles and aircrafts, multiple AI deployables, asymmetric teams (each team has different objectives), computer-controlled bot opponents which can be used to supplement the player count if required. Unlike the previous Enemy Territory games released before it however; this time around you have to pay for your copy rather than being able to download it for free off of the internet.
The game received mostly positive reviews upon release with many praising its large scale battles that support up to 64 players at once as well as friendly AI bots which do a good job of making up any shortage in numbers during online play sessions. Some criticism was directed towards console versions due to their slightly lower graphical quality when compared with PC versions but overall people seemed pleased with what they got The best way to find out if this is a title worth checking out yourself would be either asking someone who already owns or playing the demo version available online .
