Tsugunai: Atonement is a video game about the story of Leise, a young mercenary who has angered the God of Light by removing a mystical Treasure Orb from its pedestal. As punishment, Leise's soul is separated from his body until he can atone for his sins by helping the people of Walondia. To do this, he must possess them in order to change their fate and confront an evil power that has brought darkness upon them. With puzzles to solve and battles to fight along his journey of atonement, it will be up to Leise to restore peace in Walondia and reclaim what was lost.

Video game Tsugunai: Atonement is a 2001 action-adventure game released for the PlayStation 2 console. The story follows Reise, a warrior who has stolen the mystical Treasure Orb from the Goddess of Light. As punishment for his crime, he is forever separated from his body and must atone by helping people in Walondia. To do this, Reise must possess other people's bodies to help them with their troubles – be it restoring peace between warring nations or breaking curses on haunted lands.
The gameplay consists of exploring towns and dungeons while completing various tasks such as finding lost items or fighting monsters. During these explorations, players will encounter a variety of characters with unique stories that they must help solve in order to progress further into the game. Combat occurs when enemies randomly appear during exploration and can be fought using physical attacks or magic spells learned along your journey through Walondia. In addition to combat sequences, there are also puzzles which require solving in order to advance further into each dungeon area.
Overall Tsugunai: Atonement provides an interesting mix of adventure elements combined with puzzles and combat mechanics that keep you engaged throughout its 30+ hours playtime length. With gorgeous visuals provided by Sony’s Emotion Engine technology coupled with an immersive soundtrack composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy Tactics), it makes for one memorable gaming experience overall!
