Tales of Zestiria is a critically acclaimed Japanese role-playing game and the fifteenth main entry in the Tales series. Players take control of Sorey, a young man blessed with special powers by a race of mystical spirits called the Seraphim who act as stabilizing forces in his world. Together with his companions, Sorey must travel to Glenwood to free it from the threat of Hellions, creatures spawned from negative emotions.

Gameplay consists mostly of real-time battles using a variation on the action-based Linear Motion Battle System found in other entries in the series. This includes an open world that can be explored at will and unique fusion attacks which allow certain characters to combine into one entity for additional power during battle sequences. The game also features many customization options which allow players to tailor their experience according to their preferences.

The story follows Sorey's journey as he fights against evil forces while trying to understand more about himself and his place within this strange new world he has been thrust into. Alongside him are several supporting characters who offer both comic relief and moral support throughout what proves to be an emotionally charged adventure filled with drama, mystery, excitement and ultimately redemption for all involved parties.
