Serious Sam: Next Encounter is the fourth installment of the popular Serious Sam franchise, and it's just as action-packed as its predecessors. This time around, gamers take on a new arch-nemesis - Mini Sam, an evil clone of Serious Sam who has taken control of the timelock and is erasing ancient civilizations from history. It's up to players to put a stop to him once and for all!

The game features over 40 levels set in three historic locations; Ancient Rome, Feudal China and Legendary Atlantis. The graphics are crisp and detailed with plenty of weapons available at your disposal; from machine guns to rocket launchers. In addition, there are several competitive multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch, Hold The Flag and Pass The Bomb that can be played either online or offline with up to 8 players on the PS2 version or 4 players on one GameCube console. Plus you can team up with a friend in cooperative mode to help each other take down Mental’s armies!
