Rayman Origins is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game follows the adventures of Rayman, his friend Globox, and other Teensy friends as they try to restore the Glade of Dreams from a horrible disaster caused by an old granny from the Land of Livid Dead.

The story begins with our protagonists all chilling out at the Bubble Dreamer's resting grounds when their snoring disturbs said old granny who retaliates by sending evil creatures across the world. These Darktoons capture Electoons that inhabit the world and imprison Betilla the Nymph and her sisters, plunging everything into chaos. This causes the Bubble Dreamer to go crazy and have nightmares. Although they are captured, Rayman and his friends escape from captivity due to their quick thinking.

In order to restore peace in this new land, Rayman must embark on a quest to gather enough Electoons in order for them to cure Bubble Dreamer's madness as well as restoring balance back in The Glade of Dreams. Along this journey he will also be tasked with rescuing Betilla’s sisters while exploring various lands within The Glade of Dreams itself!
