Not A Hero is a 2¼D cover-based indie shooter from London-based developer Roll7 (OlliOlli). The game centers around the unlikely hero Steve, an ex-assassin turned amateur campaign manager. After being charged with cleaning up the city by a mayoral candidate named BunnyLord, Steve and his team of dubious heroes must use their unique skills to shoot, slide, dive and take cover behind a political platform built on ethics and accountability.

The goal of Not A Hero is to eliminate the criminal underworld in three major districts and sway undecided voters to your cause by using “ISO-Slant” technology. Players will also have access to guns as they tackle issues that matter through force if necessary.

Gameplay consists of fast paced action sequences where players can choose between multiple characters each with their own special abilities. As players progress through levels they are able to upgrade weapons in order to increase their chances of success against tougher enemies. There are also various environmental hazards such as exploding barrels that add an extra layer of challenge when maneuvering around stages.
