Maize is a first-person adventure video game that combines elements of Monty Python and the funnier episodes of the X-Files. Developed by Finish Line Games, Maize takes players on an absurdist journey with puzzles to solve, oddities to meet, and mysteries to be uncovered.

Players take on the roles of two scientists who have inadvertently created sentient corn after messing around with some strange government technology they found in a secret underground research facility. The goal is for players to explore this facility while searching for answers about what happened there. Along the way, they will encounter talking animals like a grumpy old scarecrow and a vodka-swilling Russian teddy bear as well as other peculiar characters in their quest for answers.

The puzzles included in Maize range from simple environmental conundrums to more complicated brainteasers involving logic and reasoning. Players must use items scattered throughout the environment such as levers, switches ,and keys to progress through each level or gain access to new areas . There are also plenty of hidden secrets waiting discovery including audio logs which provide clues about what happened at this mysterious research site before it all went wrong!
