All about game Gone Home

Gone Home is a first-person exploratory video game set in 1995. Players take on the role of Katie, a university student who has recently returned from Europe to find her family's newly inherited mansion empty, with only a note from her younger sister Sam suggesting that she has left home. As Katie explores the mansion, she must piece together the stories of what happened to her parents and why Sam chose to leave.

The game was developed by The Fullbright Company and released for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2013. It received widespread critical acclaim upon its release for its gripping story and immersive atmosphere. Gone Home focuses heavily on exploration; players are free to explore their environment at their own pace as they uncover clues about what happened in the past few days before Katie arrived home. Clues can be found scattered around the house through notes or objects such as letters or diaries which allow players to learn more about each character’s motivations behind their actions leading up to Sam leaving home suddenly.

The game also features an interesting narrative structure; while much of it remains shrouded in mystery until later revelations come into play, certain key events are revealed early on which helps build tension as more information is uncovered throughout gameplay. Furthermore, Gone Home encourages replayability due to its nonlinear narrative structure; multiple playthroughs can reveal different pieces of information depending on how you choose investigate your surroundings and interact with items within them so subsequent playthroughs will offer new perspectives into understanding what happened prior to Katie’s arrival home .

Overall Gone Home offers an engaging experience full of mystery that keeps players guessing until all loose ends have been tied up - giving us one compelling reason why this award winning title should not be forgotten anytime soon!
