All about game Hogs of War
Hogs of War is a turn-based tactics video game developed by Infogrames, released for the Sony PlayStation in 2000. In it, players take turns controlling individual members of their squad of hogs to engage in combat with the opposition - similar to Worms. The gameplay follows a third-person perspective and each turn has a set time limit which counts down when a weapon or ability is used or if they have accidentally injured themselves such as walking into a mine field or falling from high surfaces.
The unique feature about Hogs of War is that the player can move their hog around the map including jumping over terrain and swimming over bodies of water; however, they can only engage in combat when stationary. Other hazards include bodies of water that drain health as you swim through them and deadly mines scattered across levels. It’s even possible to knock hogs off the map resulting in instant death - although this requires some skillful maneuvering! When all health has been lost on land, your hog will fall over with one final comical remark before exploding (it certainly adds some fun!).
Overall, Hogs Of War provides an entertaining experience full of tactical action where no two games are ever alike due to its randomly generated maps and environments. With plenty of weapons at hand ranging from flamethrowers to grenades plus various bonus items like armor upgrades – it offers hours upon hours worth playing value for strategy fans looking for something different!
