Endless Ocean is a relaxed underwater exploration game for the Nintendo Wii. Endless Ocean, the third installment in the Everblue series of games, focuses on exploration and cataloguing of species found within an underwater world. Unlike its predecessors which had a main goal for players to search for treasure underwater, Endless Ocean is more freeform with no overarching plot. Players are given complete freedom to explore at their own pace and uncover any treasures they may come across along their journey.

The game features many different types of aquatic life from all around the world including dolphins, sharks, whales and turtles as well as smaller fish such as clownfish or angelfish. All these animals can be identified by using the Encyclopedia feature which provides detailed information about each creature you encounter as you explore the various environments that make up this virtual oceanic realm.
