Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an action role-playing game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sequel to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and serves as a continuation of the story from the previous game. Players take control of Talion, a Ranger who has been granted Wraith powers by Celebrimbor; together they must forge an army in order to defeat Sauron and his forces.

Players will be able to go behind enemy lines in order to build their armies, conquer fortresses, and dominate Mordor from within. A key feature in this game is its award winning Nemesis System which creates unique personal stories with each enemy or follower encountered during gameplay. This system also allows players to confront powerful enemies such as Sauron’s Ringwraiths as well as other foes throughout Middle Earth.

In addition to building your own army and conquering strongholds, players can also engage in battles with Orc leaders known as ‘Overlords’ where they must use strategy along with strength in order to be victorious over their foe. Players will also find that they have access to new skills such as Combat Drain which can weaken enemies while strengthening yourself or even Dominate which grants you control over Orcs for short durations allowing them join your ranks if successful enough times against various Overlords scattered across the landmass..
