The battle system of Enchanted Arms uses turn-based combat on 3 by 4 square grids placed opposite each other. Characters are able to move through their own grids according to the set number of squares they can traverse during each turn of play. Furthermore, each character has its own unique skills which have various area-of-effect patterns when used against enemies or obstacles encountered throughout the game.

Enchanted Arms also includes many subplots and side quests which allow players to gain additional rewards such as new weapons or items needed for further progress within the game itself. The enemy encounters get progressively more difficult but also give access to better rewards once defeated – giving players plenty of incentive to keep playing until they reach the endgame content contained within this title.
