MotorStorm is a brutal off-road racing game where the goal is to win at all costs. Players can choose from seven vehicle types, ranging from dirt bikes to big rigs, and use them to smash anything that gets in their way as they race towards the finish line. The terrain changes with each passing vehicle and realistic particle effects make debris stick to cars during races. Additionally, players can view spectacular Hollywood-style crash sequences when they collide with opponents. Unfortunately this JPN Import version lacks multiplayer features which has had an effect on its reviews.
