Batman: Arkham Origins is a prequel to the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City games. Taking place several years before the events of those two games, it features an expanded Gotham City and follows the story of a young, unrefined Batman as he faces his defining moment in his early career on his way to becoming the Dark Knight. The highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Origins video game is the third installment of the popular action-adventure series. Developed by WB Games Montreal, it features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.

Players will be able to explore a vast open world as they unravel an all-new mystery in Gotham City. Set during Christmas Eve, this story follows a young Bruce Wayne as he faces off against eight deadly assassins vying for his head on contract from Black Mask – one of Gotham’s most notorious crime lords. Players must use their detective skills to uncover hidden secrets and solve puzzles while fighting enemies with devastating martial arts moves, gadgets, and stealth tactics.

Batman: Arkham Origins also adds new characters to the game including Deathstroke – a dangerous mercenary who can match The Dark Knight's physical prowess – and Copperhead – a masterful assassin whose deadly venomous bite makes her extremely dangerous foe. As players progress through the main story campaign they'll come across various side missions such as taking down gangs that are terrorizing certain areas or confronting enemy bosses in order to gain powerful upgrades for their gadgetry arsenal. In addition to its single player mode, Batman: Arkham Origins also offers online multiplayer allowing gamers from around the world team up together or compete against each other in deathmatch battles pitted between two groups of three players each taking control of either Bane's militia or Joker's gang members respectively.
