Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is an action-adventure video game set in the world of J.R.R Tolkien's Middle-Earth. Players take on the role of Talion, a ranger whose family was slaughtered by Sauron's forces and who has been cursed with supernatural abilities. The player must fight their way through Mordor to discover the truth behind Talion's spirit, uncover the origins of the Rings of Power, build their legend and ultimately confront Sauron himself. Along with combat against Orcs and other creatures native to Middle Earth, players will also engage in stealth missions and gather allies as they progress through their quest.
