No More Heroes is an action-adventure video game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Ubisoft for the Nintendo Wii. It tells the story of Travis Touchdown, an ordinary man who suddenly finds himself thrust into a world of assassins. Players take on the role of Travis as he battles his way up to become number one assassin in Santa Destroy City.

The game begins with Travis receiving orders to kill a vagabond, after which he meets Helter Skelter, a handsome assassin who challenges him to battle. After defeating Skelter, Silvia Christel arrives and informs Travis that his victory was done without UAA permission; nevertheless, it still lands him at eleventh place in the rankings.

Players are then taken on a thrilling journey with Travis as he attempts to become number one assassin through various missions and intense battles against other assassins along the way. No More Heroes features exciting hack-and-slash combat with over-the-top finishers and stylish visuals that bring Santa Destroy City's gritty underworld alive like never before. The soundtrack is also masterfully composed by composer Masafumi Takada whose work can be heard in other popular games such as Killer7 and God Hand
