BioShock Infinite is an action-adventure video game developed by Irrational Games and released in 2013. The player assumes the role of Booker DeWitt, a former Pinkerton agent sent to the floating city of Columbia to rescue a young woman named Elizabeth who has been imprisoned there since childhood. As they try to escape the city which is literally falling from the sky, DeWitt must fight foes in high-speed Sky-Line battles, engage in combat indoors and amongst the clouds, and use dozens of new weapons and abilities.
