Featuring real-life motocross rider Jeremy McGrath as its main character, players race around various dirt tracks to compete against other racers and computer-controlled opponents. The game includes a variety of different modes such as single races or tournaments with up to eight riders competing at once. Despite the inclusion of some exciting features like stunt jumps and hidden bonuses, the gameplay quickly becomes repetitive due to its lack of innovation or new ideas. Although fans of motocross racing may still be able to enjoy this title today, it serves as a warning that developers should always strive to bring something fresh and new each time they create a sports video game experience.
