The Valiant is a squad-based RTS set in 13th century Europe and the Middle East. Players follow the story of Theoderich von Akenburg, a former crusader knight who has become disillusioned with war. He is called back into action when he and his former brother-in-arms stumble upon a fractured piece of an ancient artifact - the Rod of Aaron. Malcom, a young monk, informs Theoderich that unifying this rod could bring untold evil to the world. As players progress through an epic single player campaign they command and level up their knights as they fight for redemption and brotherhood online in both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.
