S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is a unique role-playing game that allows players to become stalkers, scavenging the dangerous radioactive Zone of Chernobyl for anomalous formations which they can sell on the Zone's border in exchange for money, weapons and protective equipment needed to explore previously inaccessible areas within the Zone. Unlike traditional RPGs, this game does not rely on character levels or changing characteristics; instead it focuses on developing real mastery through first-person shooter combat tactics, allowing player skill to be their greatest asset as they traverse the hostile environment of the radioactive wasteland known as The Zone.

Call of Duty: Black Ops, developed by Treyarch, is the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise. It is rumored to be a first-person shooter set during the Cold War period. The game will feature an extensive single player campaign and competitive multiplayer modes as part of its core gameplay experience. This will be the second time in the series that it has gone back to a period prior to World War II, with 2008's Call Of Duty: World At War being set during WW2. With Black Ops, players can expect new weapons and technology from this era along with classic elements from previous entries in the series such as zombies mode and online play for up to 16 people simultaneously.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat takes place shortly after the events of its predecessor, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, in which an open path to the Zone center was discovered by the government who then decided to launch a large-scale military Fairway operation with the aim of taking control over CNPP (Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant). However, their plans fail due to most helicopters crashing and Ukraine's Security Service send their agent into the Zone center to investigate what happened and why it failed - leaving everything up to the player from that point onwards for them to explore and discover as they play through this video game developed by GSC GameWorld

Insurgency is an intense, multiplayer and cooperative Source Engine based video game. Players take to the streets for close quarters combat as they battle in teams to secure crucial strongholds and destroy enemy supply. It is a follow-up game to the award-winning Source mod that strikes a balance between one-life gameplay and prolonged action. The game is highly competitive with unforgivingly lethal consequences.

To complete their mission, they must use cunning and brute force to overcome their enemies' superior numbers and firepower.
