World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is the fourth expansion set for Blizzard's popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. It was announced by Chris Metzen at BlizzCon 2011 and released in September 25, 2012. The expansion brings with it a lot of new content to explore and enjoy.

The primary focus of the Mists of Pandaria expansion is on the pandaren race, which had been previously introduced as an April Fool's joke. This time around they are fully playable characters players can use to adventure in Azeroth. In addition to this there are new zones such as the mysterious Wandering Isle, Krasarang Wilds and Valley Of Four Winds where players will find plenty of quests and activities available to them.

Another major feature added in with Mists of Pandaria is Pet Battles – a Pokemon-like mini-game that allows players to raise their own unique pets which can be used for battles against other players’ teams or even computer-controlled opponents found throughout Azeroth. Players also gain access to Scenarios – small group PvE experiences designed for three people working together where they must complete objectives in order to progress through challenging encounters.

Players who purchase this expansion will also get access to a variety of quality-of-life improvements such as accountwide mounts and achievements across all characters on one account; improved menus making it easier than ever before manage skills, professions and more; updated character models featuring increased detail; plus much more!
