Now that the world is crumbling around them, players must make tough decisions as they strive to protect their allies in this dark time.

In The Banner Saga 3, you lead your caravan through a beautiful hand painted landscape while making difficult choices along the way. As you progress towards your goal, you will be faced with moral dilemmas that could mean life or death for your allies. It's up to you to decide who lives and who dies as enemies become stronger and resources dwindle. You'll also have to make strategic choices about how best to use each character’s unique abilities on the battlefield in order to survive against overwhelming odds.

The game features two playable races: humans and Varls—giant horned creatures which can take more damage than humans but are slow-moving due to their size. Both races have access to new weapons such as bows, spears, swords, axes, hammers and shields which offer different advantages depending on battle conditions such as terrain type or enemy units present. Additionally characters can now equip powerful artifacts which can increase stats or unlock special abilities like healing nearby allies or dealing extra damage when attacking from behind cover objects like rocks or walls.
