The Elder Scrolls: Blades is an upcoming free-to-play game from Bethesda Game Studios, set to be released in winter 2019. This mobile installment of the Elder Scrolls series was announced during the 2018 Bethesda E3 Showcase and promises to bring all the classic action RPG elements of Skyrim with a few new twists.

Players take on the role of a member of The Blades, an elite group of former Imperial agents who were disbanded after the events in Oblivion. You'll find yourself in unfamiliar lands as you search for answers about what happened to your order while also rebuilding your home town after it's been destroyed. With fast-paced combat and deep character customization options, Blades will give players plenty of opportunities to explore Tamriel on their own terms.

In addition to questing and battling monsters, players can build their own city by upgrading buildings and crafting weapons using resources gathered throughout their journey.
