World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that allows players to choose an allegiance between the Alliance and Horde factions. Players can recruit new Allied Races, explore Kul Tiras, Zandalar, and uncharted islands in search of resources, battle on Warfronts to claim strategic locations, infuse armor with titanic might using Azerite resource found after Legion's wake and journey through six zones as they progress their characters to level 120. The expansion also introduces character boosts which allow players to instantly advance a hero character to level 110 and join others in battle. In addition, it includes Communities which enables players find adventurers who share common interests through in-game social groups.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the latest expansion to Blizzard’s long-running MMORPG franchise. The game was announced at BlizzCon 2017 and released in April 2018. This expansion serves as a continuation of the storyline from Legion, with players taking on the role of either Alliance or Horde forces as they fight for control over Azeroth.

The new content introduced by Battle for Azeroth includes two new continents - Kul Tiras and Zandalar - which are home to a variety of environments such as jungles, deserts, mountains, and more. Players can explore these regions while completing various quests related to their chosen faction. Additionally, four Allied Races have been added as playable characters so far; Night Elves (Alliance), Highmountain Tauren (Horde), Void Elves (Alliance), and Dark Iron Dwarves (Horde).

Also included in this expansion are Warfronts – 20-player cooperative PvE battles that take place across both continents – along with Island Expeditions which pit three teams against each other in an effort to gather resources scattered around randomly generated islands. In addition to these PvE activities are PvP battlegrounds where players compete against one another in various scenarios like Capture the Flag or King of the Hill.

Since its launch, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth has set a day-one sales record for any World of Warcraft expansion with more than 3 million units sold worldwide within its first 24 hours available on preorder alone!
