Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth installment in the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series of games, and was released on August 20th 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360.

The game continues with the storyline from Splinter Cell: Conviction as Sam Fisher returns to Third Echelon in order to investigate a mysterious group known as The Engineers who are threatening a deadly "blacklist" against nations failing to comply with their demands for total global disarmament. As Sam Fisher you must work covertly to stop them without escalating tensions between countries into war.

Splinter Cell Blacklist builds upon the foundations laid down by its predecessors but also introduces new elements that allow players more freedom when it comes to defining how they want to play through each mission or level. Players can choose between three distinct playing styles - Ghost, Assault or Panther - allowing them customize their approach depending on what suits their particular gaming style best.

Ghost players prefer remaining undetected while utilizing distraction techniques such as noise makers and flares; Assault players rely mostly on instincts and firepower in order to deal with a situation; whilst Panther players strike lethally from the shadows using lethal force only where necessary in order to accomplish objectives quickly and efficiently without detection. Whichever way you decide play your through each mission, rewards will be given based on your decisions; making sure that gamers get rewarded for choosing whichever style they prefer during any given level/mission throughout the game – ensuring variety remains high no matter which route you take along your journey towards stopping The Engineers' blacklist plot!
