Titanfall is a fast-paced, mech-style first person shooter video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and released in 2014. In Titanfall, players must battle on a war-torn planet in six-on-six online multiplayer matches as both Titans and their pilots.

As pilots, players are able to use futuristic military weapons like assault rifles or shotguns, as well as three special abilities: cloaking for stealth tactics; stimming which increases speed and health regeneration; and radar pinging for locating nearby enemies. Pilots can also run along walls with parkour techniques such as wall running or linking jumps together to gain an advantage over the competition.

Players will have access to even more powerful weaponry when they enter the battlefield inside a Titan - large mechanical suits that provide extra protection from enemy fire through special shields while allowing them to dish out significantly higher amounts of damage than what would be possible outside of one.. The only limit on piloting a Titan is cooldown times between deploying them and reloading after firing powerful weaponry like missiles or energy blasts.
