Naruto: Ninja Council 3 is a mission-based video game based on the popular Shonen Jump anime series. Players can select one of over 20 characters and use an interchangeable attack system to combine their best techniques in order to complete missions, which range from moderate to challenging. Up to four players (wireless) can play together with four different modes including Timed Mode, Scroll Collection Mode and Head-to-Head Versus Mode. The fourth installment of the popular Ninja Council series, Naruto: Ninja Council 3, has arrived on the Nintendo DS. This game features character-related content from Kimimaro and the Sound 4's special attacks to their alternate forms that have been changed or removed in international versions. As an added bonus, this edition includes a Naruto CCG card.

In addition to new characters and techniques, players can watch secret techniques with Movie mode. Players will also be able to participate in missions taking place on small maps using the touch screen for jutsu performance and map navigation. Opponents vary between animals and ninjas, as well as bosses from the series such as Ino who must be defeated under certain conditions like having health cut in half or protecting an ally during battle.
