Far Cry 2 is a first-person shooter video game set in war-torn Africa. The player takes on the role of a mercenary sent to take out The Jackal, a mysterious character who has reignited conflict between rival factions and put thousands of lives at risk. To complete their mission, they must use cunning and brute force to overcome their enemies' superior numbers and firepower. Features such as real-time story telling, systemic auto-healing, minimal in-game interface create an intense atmosphere where the player feels truly alone against barbarian warlords. A wide range of weapons are available for players to make their way through levels including machine guns, machetes, sniper rifles and flamethrowers.
