All about game Tenchu: Stealth Assassins
Tenchu: Stealth Assassins is an action-adventure stealth game developed by Acquire and published for the PlayStation in 1998. It was one of the first games to bring ninja gameplay into 3D, allowing players to experience a whole new level of stealthy combat. The game features traditional martial arts as well as elements from Japanese mythology and fantasy, creating an atmosphere that immerses players into feudal Japan.
Players take on the role of Rikimaru or Ayame, two ninjas trained by their master Lord Gohda who has been overthrown by his rival Lord Mei-Oh. Players must find a way to restore Lord Gohda's honor while avoiding detection from enemy guards and patrolling samurai warriors. This requires sneaking through shadows and using items such as throwing stars, smoke bombs, and grappling hooks to move silently around levels without being detected.
Combat in Tenchu also uses motion capture technology where actor/martial artist Sho Kosugi along with his son Kane were hired as actors for the game's combat moves making it more realistic than ever before. Combat includes close quarter attacks such as sword swings, kicks and throws but also ranged weapons like bows or shurikens which can be used against enemies at long range - something that wasn't available in other Ninja games at this time period . Players have access to various types of armor which can protect them from damage but if they are spotted by guards then they will enter battle mode where they must defeat all opponents quickly before reinforcements arrive otherwise it will become too difficult for them to win battles even with their upgraded armor on hand..
The combination of stealth mechanics blended with elements from Japanese mythology make Tenchu: Stealth Assassins one of the most unique video games ever created – providing gamers with a truly atmospheric experience set within ancient Japan’s dark past
