All about game Stronghold 2

Stronghold 2 is a real-time strategy video game that allows players to build an empire and reign as they please in the medieval kingdom of Stronghold. Players can decide how to rule their lands: by taxation, torture, or treating their peasants with kindness and compassion. The main goal of the game is to unite the land under one true King while being besieged by Lord Barclay’s warmongers and fighting against rival lords who are vying for power.

The gameplay of Stronghold 2 revolves around castle building, resource management like food production, gold accumulation from taxes, development of military strength through troop training and research into new technologies like siege machines and gunpowder weapons. With its advanced graphics engine allowing detailed 3D visuals inside castles during sieges or tournaments held in honor of a lord's victory over his rivals, the player can experience first hand what life was like during these tumultuous times. In addition to this singleplayer campaign mode there is also an online multiplayer mode where up to 8 players can compete against each other using Steam Multiplayer service on PC or Mac computers. The original version used GameSpy which has since been discontinued but still remains available via Steam Edition.

Overall Stronghold 2 offers a unique blend between historical accuracy regarding feudalism as well as modern gaming elements such as intense combat scenarios combined with strategic decision making for those looking for something different then just another generic fantasy inspired RTS title
