All about game New Rally-X
The classic arcade game New Rally-X is a fun and exciting maze and driving title released by Namco in 1981. The game hardware was similar to its predecessor, however there were slight graphical enhancements as well as easier gameplay. An interesting new addition to the game is the Lucky Flag (with the letter L), which gives players extra points for remaining fuel when collected. After collecting this flag, the round will continue if there are still flags left on the board.
While most of the mazes from Rally-X remain unchanged, some blocks have been switched out with roads in order to reduce dead ends. Additionally, some of the locations for flags and rocks may differ slightly from their original placements in Rally-X. This revised version of an old favorite proved to be quite popular among Japanese gamers at launch time due to its improved graphics and increased accessibility compared to its predecessor - something that it’s sure to bring joy to retro gamers even today!
