Myth II: Soulblighter is an award-winning real-time strategy video game from Bungie Software. The game takes place in a mythical world, with the player taking control of troops or individual units to complete missions and battle against the forces of Light and Darkness.

In Myth II, players build their own armies composed of various types of soldiers such as swordsmen, archers, dwarves, trolls and more. These units can be outfitted with magical weapons and armor to increase their effectiveness in combat. Players must also manage resources like food and gold while launching assaults on enemy strongholds. As they progress through the game they will encounter numerous challenging scenarios that require tactical skill to overcome.

The campaigns included within Myth II provide hours upon hours of gameplay as players work their way through difficult missions set across multiple levels spread throughout a vibrant fantasy world filled with interesting characters and exotic locations. The story follows two powerful gods – Balor (the Lord of Darkness) and Mielikki (the Lady of Light) – who are locked in an eternal struggle for supremacy over this realm known as Alaron; where fate decides the winner between Good versus Evil each time these ancient foes clash!

Alongside its singleplayer campaign mode, Myth II offers up some great multiplayer action too; allowing gamers to challenge other human opponents via LAN or Internet connections using either standard rules or special variants including Capture the Flag, Last Man Standing etc… This was one feature which really helped put it ahead of its peers when released back in 1998!

All things considered then there’s no doubt that Myth II: Soulblighter still stands tall amongst many competing titles today due to its engaging story-line coupled with deep strategic gameplay elements made possible by allowing you take control of squads or individual units in order to complete tactically-challenging missions – all wrapped up neatly within epic battles between Forces Of Light vs Dark!
