All about game Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection
Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is a compilation of three classic 2D fighting games in the Mortal Kombat series. Developed by Other Ocean Interactive and published by Warner Bros. Games, this 2011 video game marks an attempt to revive the popular franchise on modern consoles. The collection includes Mortal Kombat (1992), Mortal Kombat II (1993) and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995).
The release of this collection was preceded by another ambitious project - a HD remake titled “Mortal Kombat HD Arcade Kollection” which was ultimately cancelled due to various reasons. Despite that, the team behind it decided not to give up, so they released this much smaller package instead as a way for fans of the original titles to experience them again in high definition graphics and improved sound effects.
Players can expect all their favorite characters from these classic games with newly-added achievements, leaderboards and online play capabilities for each title individually; however, there is no cross-game compatibility available between them at present time. Apart from that, two bonus challenge towers are included - one for each individual game - where players must face multiple opponents consecutively without recovering health between rounds while trying to reach certain goals before time runs out or facing defeat themselves if they fail in doing so.
All things considered, Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection provides an excellent opportunity for long-time fans of the franchise who want to relive some nostalgia on modern systems as well as newcomers who wish to discover what made these games so iconic back then while enjoying slightly updated visuals along with added features such as online play support and bonus challenges modes among others.
