Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - Breakthrough is a first-person shooter video game set in World War II. Players take on the role of U.S. Army Sergeant John Baker as they fight against the Axis powers throughout Europe from 1943 to 1944. This expansion pack includes eleven single-player levels, nine new multiplayer maps, and new weapons and locations to explore. Players will battle their way through Kasserine Pass in North Africa, capture Messina in Sicily, and repel the German army at Monte Battaglia in Italy as they attempt to defeat the Axis powers. Note that Medal of Honor Allied Assault is required to play this expansion pack.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - Breakthrough is an expansion pack for the popular video game Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. In this expansion, players take on the role of Sgt. John Baker in the US 34th Infantry Division and battle through over 20 levels based on historical military campaigns from World War II. From taking part in the Battle of Kasserine Pass to surviving Omaha Beach landing, players will be able to experience some of the most infamous battles experienced during WWII.

Breakthrough adds Italian weapons for both single player and multiplayer mode as well as British and Soviet weapons from Spearhead. Additionally, additional British weapons are included so that gamers can have access to a complete arsenal when playing online or against AI opponents. Players will be able to fire period-accurate weapons such as M1 Garand rifles, Thompson Submachine Guns and more while commanding authentic war vehicles like Jeeps, Sherman Tanks and other iconic machines used during WW2's major engagements.
