Kero Blaster is a retro-style platform video game created by Daisuke Pixel Amaya. It was released in 2014 for PC and iOS and has received positive reviews on both platforms. The game follows the story of a frog working for Cat & Frog, a teleporter company who must clean the teleporters of strange black monsters.

Players control their frog character using controls similar to those used in classic games such as Contra or pre-Symphony of the Night Castlevanias. You can change direction, jump, fire your weapon, and switch between weapons while holding down the fire button to continue firing in whatever direction you were facing when you started shooting.

The stages are linear but offer enough challenge to keep players engaged without being too difficult or frustratingly hard (although it does get harder as you progress). Kero Blaster offers plenty of secrets hidden throughout each level which allow players to access special items that provide additional health points, upgrades for your peashooter gun, and other bonuses. There are also boss battles at certain checkpoints which add an extra layer of difficulty and excitement to the gameplay experience.
