Jak 3 is a video game that takes place one year after Jak and Daxter saved Haven City from Kor and the attacking Metal Heads. Unfortunately, Haven City has descended into chaos as three different factions fight for control of its streets. The citizens have grown to distrust Jak's dark powers, blaming him for their current plight. When the palace is destroyed by a surprise Metal Head attack, Count Veger forces Jak into banishment to the Wasteland. Accompanied by Daxter and Pecker, they set off on an adventure in this five times larger environment with mines and volcanoes - vehicles play a large role here as well. Players can upgrade weapons with mods while also benefiting from Light Eco which allows them to transform into Light Jak with wingspans and energy blocks that make them invincible. Dark Jak also returns forcing players to balance between light and dark as they progress through the game.

Jak 3 is a platform game developed by Naughty Dog and released exclusively for Sony’s PlayStation 2 console. The game serves as the sequel to Jak II, and third installment in the series. It features a storyline that picks up after the events of its predecessor, as well as new weapons and devices.

The story follows Jak and Daxter on their quest to defeat Krew, who has formed an alliance with Dark Eco Tanks. Along their journey they come across new allies such as Torn, Ashelin, Krew's former henchman Sig, and others who help them in their mission. During this time Jak develops new abilities due to his exposure to Dark Eco which can be used during gameplay. These include Light Flight Ground Shatter which allows him to fly short distances or break open obstacles respectively; Zoomer Boost which gives him increased speed over short distances; Turbo mode allowing him greater control when driving vehicles; and Power Shot- a powerful blast of dark energy that can be targeted at enemies or objects from afar.

In addition to these powers there are also several gadgets players will have access too throughout the game including Jet Board, JET-Board Modification Device (JM), Turret Launchers (TL) , EMP Shield Generator (ESG), Laser Tracer System(LTS). All these gadgets allow playersto explore more areas of each level while staying safe from enemies or hazards alongthe way . In terms of levels there are various locations available ranging from desert wastelands , underground caverns , waterfalls hidden tunnels amongst others .
