Fable: The Lost Chapters is a critically acclaimed role-playing action video game developed by Lionhead Studios. It was released for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005, and later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008.

The Lost Chapters is an expanded version of the popular original Fable game, with additional content such as new monsters, weapons, spells, items, armour, towns and buildings. It also includes nine new areas and sixteen additional quests that explore the story further; characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe who had minor roles in the original game are now given more importance through main or side quests. Even Jack of Blades's voice has been made deeper and harsher to add to his demonic aura.

One major advantage of The Lost Chapters over its predecessor is that it fixed many glitches found in the original title; most notably ‘the dig glitch’ which caused players' character model to move backward each time they used a shovel – often pushing them through solid objects or trapping them inside walls! Other improvements include Lady Grey’s murder mystery being open for exploration (and resolution) as well as allowing players to give items away to their children should they choose so - something not available before this edition.

Overall Fable: The Lost Chapters is an excellent addition offering much improved gameplay from its predecessor whilst maintaining all the charm of the first instalment - making it suitable for both fans old and new alike!
