Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia is a video game set in 1918, during the Russian Revolution. The main character, Nikolai Orelov, has been sent on one last mission for the Assassin Order to infiltrate and steal an artifact from the house where Tsar Nicholas II's family is being held by Bolsheviks. During his mission he witnesses the massacre of most of the tsar's children but rescues Anastasia and must protect her as he makes his escape while defending against Templars who are also after this ancient relic.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia is the latest installment in the popular Assassin's Creed series. Set in 1918, during the aftermath of the October Revolution, players will take on the role of Russian assassin Nikolai Orelov. The mission he has been assigned by his Order is to infiltrate a house where Tsar Nicholas II's family are being held by Bolsheviks and steal an ancient artifact that has both Assassins and Templars have been fighting over for centuries.

Players will embark on a thrilling adventure as they attempt to complete their mission while protecting Anastasia, who Orelov manages to save from certain death during her family’s massacre. Along this journey he will face many obstacles including treacherous landscapes, powerful enemies and unexpected hazards which all need to be overcome in order to succeed in his mission.

The game features fast-paced action with stealth elements as well as platforming sequences where players must use parkour moves and acrobatics skills in order to traverse difficult terrain or reach higher areas that offer strategic advantages when taking out enemies or avoiding detection from patrolling guards.
