It uses the second generation Serious Engine to allow for characters with over 100 times more detail than its predecessor, as well as huge and lush environments. The new engine also allows for even crazier enemies without sacrificing gameplay quality - this means that Croteam has set a record with the first Serious Sam for having the most enemies on screen at one time!
