F.E.A.R 3 is a horror-themed shooter video game where Alma, the antagonist from the original F.E.A.R., returns as a major character and is joined by her two sons, Point Man and Paxton Fettel, who offer players divergent co-op play with distinct abilities that affect their own play experience as well as their partner's in both single player or cooperative modes of gameplay. Players can choose to take on the role of Point Man, a genetically enhanced super soldier previously featured in FEAR 1, or they can join forces with his cunning brother Paxton whose supernatural telekinetic power allows him to exist beyond death itself.
