Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is a role-playing video game in which players take on the role of a humble fisherman from Estard Island, the only land in an ocean world. When they discover artifacts from an ancient land, they are transported to past lands and must solve their mysteries and break the spell of annihilation. Along the way, they will face their destiny as they explore forgotten worlds and restore peace to their own world.
